What Is HCG?

HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin – human chorionic gonadotropin) is a hormone found in the female body during early pregnancy (occurs in the placenta). It is in fact the pregnancy indicator measured by pregnancy test kits (pun intended), and because its origin is not found in the body at any time in those quantities.
